The problem isn't the speed. The problem is when the speed becomes a shortcut to not informing. When you move before saying where you're going, people feel the impact before understanding what happened. And then comes resistance. And then you abandon it.
Informing is not asking for permission. It's saying "I'm doing this" before doing it. That sentence completely changes the resistance you encounter — because it removes the shock before it happens.
The question isn't whether you should initiate. The question is: how do you inform?
Slowing down doesn't make you accessible. It makes you smaller. What needs to change isn't your speed — it's what you expect from others while you're in it.
